Introducing Marlene Bouchér

In 1982, Marlene came to Idaho from Tacoma, Washington, where she was office manager for a prominent architectural firm. In 1983, she moved from Kuna to “The Treasure of the Valley,” Caldwell, Idaho.  Marlene represented the “More to Offer” City of Caldwell as First Lady from 1986 through 1989.  Since those years, her love of writing earned her an award for a mystery novel as well as a humorous short children’s story through Idaho Writer’s League statewide competition.  Her self-employment as a child support advocate brought her to employment with the State of Idaho as a Self-Reliance Specialist which enhanced her expertise in negotiating, developing and evaluating contracts, maximizing personal independence, facilitating economic self reliance, community outreach, along with clientele encouragement and monitored progress;  paralegal vocation.
